I have worked in the field of marketing since 1997, starting as a marketing assistant in a full service agency working my way up through a number of organisations in various industries until 2001 when I was recruited as marketing manager to establish the marketing department from scratch for a national distribution company where I stayed until going freelance in 2007.
I have worked in both the public and private sector and have specific experience in the automotive, education and organisational development industries.
In my various roles I have experience of devising strategies and implementing tactical plans to achieve marketing objectives. This includes the development of creative integrated campaigns using direct mail, marketing literature, web development, e-marketing, PR, exhibitions and event management.
I am a fully qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and hold Chartered Marketer status.
